Bigg Boss 11: Will Shilpa Shinde win the show ???

Shilpa has become extremely popular and in a likelihood, she will be the winner of Bigg Boss 11, but you never know...

It became a national discussion when Shilpa Shinde quit &TV’s popular show, Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain!, not only because she called it quits on a controversial note (she had accused the producers of mental harassment), but fans of the show were just not ready to see anyone else as Angoori Bhabhi. They were hoping that Shilpa will change her mind, but things only became worse and Shilpa was out of work for almost two years. She was on the verge of fading into oblivion, but Bigg Boss 11 came to her rescue. She entered the house this year along with 17 other contestants, and with her beautiful stint on the show, she has earned a fan following, which no other contestant has managed to do in the previous seasons. Isn’t all this surreal sometimes? How an actress, who was almost written off has only managed to save her career, but also get massive support from the masses. In all likelihood, she will end up lifting the winner’s trophy come Sunday (January 14).

And there are quite a few things at play here:

Army of fans – As we said above, Shilpa has built an army of fans, who is making sure that she comes out of the house with the trophy and the prize money of Rs 50 lakh. Look at any poll on social media, Shilpa is winning all of them, and that too with a huge margin. Emotional connect – With her journey on Bigg Boss 11, she has connected with the audience on an emotional level. Agreed, she tortured Vikas Gupta during the initial weeks of the show, but when both of them let the bygones be bygones, viewers finally started seeing her positive side. She was like a mother figure for some inside the house, and she treated them exactly like how a mother would treat their children, which further impressed the viewers.

Caring – Shilpa is a very gentle and caring person. She took charge of the kitchen right from the first day and cooked meals for 17 people, which is not a joke. She must have made more than 7000 rotis till now and fed to people even when she fought with them.

But then it was not that perfect of a stint as Shilpa ended up making a few blunders on the show:

Played the victim card – For those of you who don’t know, her co-contestant, Vikas Gupta was one of the producers of Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain!, so she kept blaming Vikas for damaging her career. Many thought that she is playing the victim card on purpose and cashing in on that fallout with him.

Didn’t perform the tasks with full heart – Since she was heavily involved in the kitchen, many thought that she didn’t perform the tasks with her full heart. Like Hina Khan, she didn’t show that passion to win the tasks, as she kept relying on her fans to be the winner of the show.

With just three days to go for the grand finale of Bigg Boss 11, we can’t wait to find out who will be the winner.
