Varun Dhawan and Anushka Sharma’s Sui Dhaaga will now release on September 28 !!!

Varun Dhawan and Anushka Sharma revealed their first looks from Sui Dhaaga – Made In India last night (February 12). And while everyone has been gushing about the pictures, not many saw that the film’s release has been rescheduled too. Yes, Varun Dhawan revealed on Twitter that Sui Dhaaga – Made In India is now set to release on September 28. Earlier the makers had announced that the movie would release on October 02. So quite clearly they have now decided to bring their release date forward. This decision might have been taken to give the film a major boost in collection on October 02, which is a holiday (Gandhi Jayanti). And we feel it is a wise call because Gandhi Jayanti comes on a Tuesday and after a fantastic day one, Sui Dhaaga would not get footfalls on day 2 (Wednesday) because of the working days.

Coming back to the movie, the makers released the first looks of the film and we have to say Varun and Anushka’s drastic transformation as Mauji and Mamta is commendable. The actors have never seen before avatars in the movie. In the first looks, we see Varun wearing a typical desi, cream printed shirt along with brown pants, while Anushka sits behind him in a purple and mustard coloured saree. Varun also sports a moustache for the first time, while we see Sindoor on Anushka’s head too. Their looks make you believe that they belong to a village, which is totally what they aimed to achieve.For those of you who don’t know, Sui Dhaaga – Made In India is a film about finding love and respect through self-reliance
